Long-term and sustainable work is found in ESBE’s DNA

Since 1906, we have worked in close harmony with people and nature. It comes naturally when you, like us, conduct production where we live ourselves. » Have a look at our sustainability report

For a long time, we have been working with the values Energy Saving, Comfort, Safety, Long-term strategy, Leadership and Compassion. It may sound nice, but it doesn’t matter if we don’t actively work with them. Therefore, we are careful to incorporate the values into everything we do.

Our business concept is:
“We will assist our customers to provide property owners in Europe with the market’s most resource-saving products and solutions for regulating heating and cooling in hydronic systems.”

How is sustainability incorporated into our core business?

For us, sustainability is a legacy that has been with us for over a hundred years. From the very beginning, in 1906, we worked locally and with a focus on quality and sustainability. Everything we have done historically, and everything we do today is with sustainability in mind. An ESBE product must stand for energy saving, comfort and safety. Therefore, we must always act with long-term perspective and show both good leadership and compassion.
“Sustainability for ESBE is about us caring. Our core values of long-term perspective, leadership and care permeate ESBE’s history and how we think ahead”, explains  Linda Bergström, Quality and Environmental Coordinator at ESBE AB.

We have well-thought-out policies that guide our work and focus. Quality policy, Environmental policy and a Policy for safety and health in the workplace. In addition to these guidelines, our work is governed by a Code of Conduct together with our corporate social responsibility.

Global goals with a local starting point

To contribute to the global pursuit of a better world, we work locally with some of the UN’s Global Goals.

This is what the UN themselves say:
“These goals have the power to create a better world by 2030, by ending poverty, fighting inequality and addressing the urgency of climate change. Guided by the goals, it is now up to all of us, governments, businesses, civil society and the general public to work together to build a better future for everyone.”

We at ESBE have chosen to focus on eight goals, divided into Environment, Society and Economy. We chose the goals because we feel they are close to our business and our community involvement.
