ESBE AB and its subsidiaries undertake to respect and protect your personal data and your privacy in accordance with applicable legislation, industry regulations and other relevant standards.

 

CONTROLLER OF PERSONAL DATA 

ESBE AB, company reg. no. 556269-6319, is the controller pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 for the processing of personal data taking place within the company. Subsidiaries ESBE GmbH, ESBE S.a.r.l, ESBE S.r.l. and ESBE HYDRONIC SYSTEMS Sp. z o.o. are controllers of the processing of personal data taking place within the framework of their respective operations.

FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES COLLECTING DATA 

Via our websites, ESBE AB and its subsidiaries offer you the opportunity to order support material or register for receiving our newsletter. On these websites, we receive data regarding your name and contact details as well as other information necessary in order to complete your requests. In order to improve our services and products, and so that we can personalise our communication with you, we may also ask you to provide additional information regarding your personal or professional interests, place of domicile or the like. When you contact us, place an order, make a complaint, return goods or when we make a delivery of goods or services via, for example, the internet, telephone or in person, your personal data will be registered in our system and used for administrative purposes. Your data may also be used for market and customer analyses, monitoring or developing ESBE AB’s services, as well as for marketing purposes. Contact personnel at companies will be registered by name, address, telephone number, department/unit, email address and job title. In the case of sole traders, personal identity numbers will also be registered as these are also the company registration number.

 

FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES  SECURITY 

ESBE AB and its subsidiaries protect your personal data using appropriate technical and organisational measures. In order to prevent unauthorised access and to ensure correctness, we employ encryption when processing sensitive personal data. We always strive to ensure that your personal data is processed within the EU/EEA. However, if your personal data is transferred to a country outside of the EU/EEA, we will enter into an agreement regulating the transfer and processing of personal data with the recipient company/organisation in order to ensure that the level of protection is equivalent to that within the EU/EEA, for example containing standard clauses approved by the European Commission.

 

COOKIES 

Cookies are small text files created by the websites you visit and sent to your browser. Cookies are stored in your computer’s memory if you give your consent. ESBE AB and its subsidiaries use cookies to track country and language preferences, for our My Favourites function and to facilitate your use of our websites. We do not use cookies to collect personal data. Otherwise, you can visit all sections of our website without receiving cookies. To understand how visitors use our websites, we use Google Analytics, a website analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Information generated is normally sent to and stored on a Google server in the United States. Within the EU/EEA, Google will abbreviate your IP address using IP anonymization. However, it will only be abbreviated in the US under exceptional circumstances. The IP address sent from your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be compiled with other Google data. USING YOUR PERSONAL DATA 

ESBE AB and its subsidiaries process and use the data you have provided in order to meet your needs and to offer you an improved service. ESBE AB and its subsidiaries will never forward your data without your consent, except in accordance with applicable legislation or if required to do so in conjunction with an order you have placed with us for a product or service. No personal data will be disclosed to third parties with the exception of such data as is necessary for the fulfilment of our undertakings, such as delivery address information to carriers. We sometimes employ subcontractors to facilitate the provision of our services, e.g. IT systems, operational and hosting services, web traffic analysis and the dispatch of newsletters. In the event that we share your personal data with a third party, we will enter into an agreement to ensure that your data is processed in a satisfactory manner. ESBE AB and its subsidiaries never intentionally utilise data from or engage in marketing targeted at children or minors.

 

REGISTRY EXTRACTS, CORRECTIONS AND DELETIONS 

We retain your personal data only for as long as a customer/supplier relationship exists between the companies and it is required in order to effect orders, deliveries, invoicing, dealing with complaints and returns and to be able to exercise rights such as warranties. You have the right to request the erasure of the personal data we process about you and you can request that our processing of your personal data be limited to its intended purpose. You always retain the right to avoid direct marketing and can object to your personal data being used for such a purpose.
