What does the different LED- Signals in the front of the FSK101 represent?

The LED´s at the actuator located in the front of the FSK101 communicates working status and errors.

A constant LED light indicates working positions of the valve:

  • Green LED: the valve has an opening of 0%
  • Green Blue LED: the valve has an opening of 1 up to 40%
  • Blue LED: the valve has an opening of 40 up to 60%
  • Blue Red LED: the valve has an opening of 60 up to 99%
  • Red LED: the valve has an opening of 100%

What happens when one or more LED´s on the actuator is flashing rapidly?

Flashing in a frequency of 0,25s means ERROR. The error could mean that the valve does not react to the control signal and is stuck in one position. Following steps can be taken:

  • Reset: Disconnect / connect the power supply of the Fresh Hydro Unit. The valve moves during startup of the FSK101.
  • Cleaning: Dismount the valve from the FSK101. Clean the cone if necessary. During re-mounting of valve, use silicon grease.
  • Contact customer service.

What does the different LED- Signals on the controller fitted on the right hand side of the FSK101 represent?

  • Green LED: FSK is ready for use
  • Red LED: ERROR - please press the Service button for 2 seconds to get further information’s
  • Green LED is flashing: The FSK101 is used in manual mode. The primary pump is running with 50% speed, and the valve is in 50% position.
  • LED is flashing Green and Red: Legionella flushing is active

Is there an active lime protection integrated into the FSK101?

The Fresh Hydro Unit has an active lime protection. It works in two ways:

  • Hardware design: The construction of the plate heat exchanger allows a big energy transfer with low temperature level.
  • Software: The controller secures that whenever it is possible, the flow temperature in the primary side is limited below 60°C. (This depends of the drinking water flow and desired temperature).

How can I minimize the risk of lime in the Heat exchanger of the FSK101?

You get enlarged fallout of lime at temperatures above 60°C. To minimize the risk, set a tap temperature at a lower level (in every case lower than 55°C).

You also need to take in consideration that in case of high flow, as well as high temperature of drinking water, a temperature higher than 60°C has to be secured for the heating water.
